Ever Wonder How Drag Artists Keep That Makeup from Budging?! Well this is their secret according to drag extraordinaire @Missfamenyc on IG.

I first saw her use this product on both @NikkiTutorials  and @JeffreeStar so far on his youtube channel so I figured to trying it out myself.

Product Info:

Created by award winning makeup artists Richard Snell (How the Grinch Stole Christmas [2000], Star Trek) & Kenny Myers (Lincoln, The Last Samurai), the Green Marble Selr Spray is the most durable sealer for makeup on the market today! The formula becomes alcohol-resistant as it dries, so you can create layer after layer of makeup for truly unique designs.

To Use:  Spray directly onto makeup about 6-8 inches away from skin. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin.

Available Sizes:

  • 1fl.oz. / 30ml.
  • 4fl.oz. / 120ml.
  • 8fl.oz. / 240ml.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Layering Makeup – GREEN MARBLE SeLr resists alcohol when it’s dried, allowing you to overlap products for layering effects. To achieve this, Spray GREEN MARBLE SeLr onto makeup, let it dry, then apply another layer of makeup and repeat as desired, drying in between each layer.
  • GREEN MARLBE SeLr also mixes with powders and pigments to create tanning effects.
  • Airbrushing GREEN MARBLE SeLr is possible but not recommended for beginners, as the matting agents will cause clogging unless thoroughly cleaned.

MY REVIEW

PROS: My first impression of the product before use I was excited because I too wanted a glorious beat and snatched face. When using the product it has a really strong smell like a chemical and it may sting a little when applied. I applied the spray before going out because I wanted to see how it held up out and about at the club sweating and partying. And I can definitely say that it held up. When Applied it created like this tough barrier literally. It was like a clear film over my face. I felt like this would truly be amazing just on eye shadows, loose pigments, and brows.

CONS: After the night was over and I got back to the house I looked in the mirror and it seems that my makeup looked a little grey around my forehead. it look a little dirty. But my makeup had not moved a bit just on my forehead area it looked as though it changed colors. I dont know what was the cause for this but I will figure it out because I would like to use the product again. Oh and the smell when first applied is extremely strong but it does go away after it dries.

CONCLUSION: Ultimately I give this product a 7 out of 10 stars. It definitely did what it says it does but I do want to figure out why the makeup discolored a little around the forehead maybe it was the foundation I used may have oxidized a little pairing it with this particular product; I don’t know, but this product has so much potential I am going to figure it out myself through research on why it changed the color of the foundation on my forehead. And when I do and I can fix the issue I will then re-rate this product a 10 out of 10. But for now its a 7 out of 10.
